In April 2009, a set of PTFs for IBM i 5.4 (V5R4) and 6.1 (V6R1) were created. These PTFs provide a tool to facilitate the gathering of system capacity information. The tool, distributed as a program is called QLZARCAPI (Retrieve Partition Capacity Information) and can be used to determine the features and characteristics of an IBM AS/400, iSeries, System i and Power Systems hardware running IBM i. A whitepaper has been written which provides information on the PTFs, output of the tool, and other related information.
